Margaret ElizabethNEWBY30.5.1906 - 12.2.2008 It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing away of Margaret at Prince Charles Hospital at the age of 101. Margaret was the wife of the late William, cherished mother of Jeanne and Berwyn, she was a loving mother-in-law to Royden, adored grandmother to Judith, Jill, Caroline and Anthony, much loved great-grandmother to Iwan, Erin and Osian and grandson-in-law Bill. With great honour the bearers were Anthony, Iwan, Osian, Granville, Bill and Christopher. Margaret was born in Penydarren and lived most of her life in Twynrodyn. She enjoyed a long and happy life, was much loved and respected and held in high regard by all and was a source of true inspiration to everyone who knew her. Special thanks to close family, her friends and neighbours who regularly visited and enjoyed Margaret's company over many happy years. She was a long-standing member of Horeb Chapel, Penydarren where a memorable service was conducted with compassion, love and affection by the former minister of Horeb Rev Derwyn Morris Jones, ably assisted by Mr Geoff Leyshon. The family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their support, cards and donations to the British Heart Foundation. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Alfred James and Son, Twynrodyn. Hedd Perffaith Hedd.
